Banish that loose belly......
The easiest way to "sneak" nutrition into a dinner
In order to get leaner faster you need to get smart with your diet.
Something I have found to be of great benefit recently is "sneaking" in an extra mountain of
nutrition into certain of my dinners.
The secret here is that by piling in higher nutrient density into my meals leads to me having a lower
appetite and kills my post meal cravings. You know those cravings - they are the ones that give you
your loose belly!
So here's what I've been doing...
I've been using the most nutrient dense vegetables known to man, such as kale, bok choy, mustard grees etc
and found a great way of using them in cooked meals. Previously I had struggled to figure out how I could
incorporate these superstar vegetables into a meal - but the sneak technique has been the answer I was looking for!
Obviously I'm always getting loads of spinach and lettuce in salads, but I am talking about foods WAY more nutritionally dense than
spinach and lettuce - of course I'm talking about those superstars I mentioned earlier - bok choy, mustard greens, kale and of course
swiss chard!
Finally I figured out how I could get these superstars into my meals - right under the radar! Since I have successfully tried my
technique on friends that do not like the taste of these vegetables separetely I know that this works!
So, here's the low-down. What I do is I take a handful of whatever superstar greens I can get - be it kale, bok choy, mustard greens and/or
swiss chard and I throw them whole into a soup or my trusty homemade tomato sauce mixture. To add extra "body" to my sauce, I'll add
chunked onion and zucchini into the piping hot mixture bubbling in the pan.
After the mixture has simmered for a while and the green have softened, I take out all the vegetables (the greens, the onion and the
zucchini) and I thow them all into my blender. I'll then blend that mixture until smooth and then pour the whole of that mixture
back into my simmering pan or soup or sauce. Of course you can throw in your favourite free-range, organic meat into the sauce
to give it an even bigger nutritional kick.
Now I know that many people are not keen on the taste of greens like bok choy and kale etc separately. In fact, I have a confession -
neither am I. However, blended into a sauce or soup, these make of a really tasty, delicious mixture and adds LOADS of nutrient
density to your meals - satisfies your appetite and helps you get leaner and turbo-charge your loose belly killing objective.
Another great benefit of this approach is that actually pureeing the vegetables in the blender after softening them allows the body
to absorb more vitamins and minerals as the pureed greens are much easier for the body to digest as compared to eating them normally by
chewing them.
And the best thing is... if you have kids, incorporating these pureed greens into a soup or sauce is THE great way of sneaking them more
greens without them knowing!
I hope that you can use this tip to kill that loose belly and get lean for good!
